Lead engineer and lead designer in a 5-month game prototype project, involving 11 volunteers.

Game Description

A thunderstorm is terrifying our human friend. She enlists you – her tiny, carpet dwelling protector – to bring light to her. Explore and interact with the mysterious, towering scenery, through the fears and whims of the young storyteller as she narrates your journey.

Responsibilities included:

  • Directing team of engineers.

  • Core gameplay development (C#).

  • Core mechanic (light burst mechanic) implementation & reactions.

  • Carpet hair clusters: dynamic movement responses and optimisations over many iterations.

  • Custom FP controller.

  • Overall game design, level design and set dressing.
